Employment/temp agency termination laws? I was just terminated today from my 6 month contract with a company through an employment/temp agency. It was done after I left work, via a phone call without any prior notice or warning. Is this lawful? My original contract was set to end in May, but I was terminated at 5 months. Can someone please offer some legal advice? Is a lawsuit possible or necessary in this case? I live in the state of Florida. Employment/temp agency termination laws?
