Yahoo! Answers: I need help badly...?

Thank author of this post/commentI need to find a job in Atlanta, Georgia. I just graduated with a BS degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development. I did not know it was going to be this hard I need tips or anything that can start me off. I have been searching for a long time. Thanks it is appreciated.

You just need to keep trying, and applying to many different places to keep your options open. Remember to act professionally and be polite and on time!

Well you seem to have an interesting degree and I think it would be really hard for you to find a job. You can actually take a look at some references on the internet about the in demand jobs in Georgia so you will have an idea which kind of job you can enter. You may also coordinate in the Department of Labor so they can guide you in searching the right job opportunity for you.

In these times, it is rather difficult to find jobs even if you have graduated with a degree. Some people willingly applied on jobs even if they are not be directly related to their course just so that they could find jobs. But if you stick to your profession, maybe you can still find a job though I think a degree in psychology is quite competitive.
