| Massage Therapy Career in Hawaii A career in massage therapy begins with the selection of a program from any location that is part of the accredited massage therapy schools. By using the internet search engines, many students have found accredited schools in the town where they live. Students must consider their goals in life before applying to a massage therapy school. If the students goals match the curriculum that is being offered at the school that is the closest to them, then that is the school that should be selected. Some people will travel as far as the Hawaiian Islands to receive a quality education in massage therapy because aloha love is the center point of training there. Massage therapy students should also consider massage therapy schools that have not been accredited by the US Department of Education because certain course requirements might be shortened and fit in well with a massage therapists occupational goal. Some people that want to be massage therapists simply do not have the desire to wait four years before working in their field. Shorter education programs from non-accredited schools though will fit in well with their plans. |
