Yahoo! Answers: Is a non-compete agreement enforceable on an insurance agent whoNevada - Employment Agency
| Yahoo! Answers: Is a non-compete agreement enforceable on an insurance agent who I have two contracts stating that I am an independent contractor and not an employee of the agency but the employment contract states that I am forbidden from working for any other agency or company for a period of three years. I looked up the law that states an agreement like this is legal but the law uses the term "employee". In my contract it makes it clear that I am not an employee of the agency. The link to the Nevada law is here: http://leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-613.html#NRS613Sec200 Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
