How can I get custody of my sister? I'm 22 years old and I'm in college and I've been at my full time job for over two years and I have my own apartment and I'm moving into a house within a couple of months. My sister is 13 (14 next month) and was staying with my mother, but she's a alcoholic and is mentally abusive to her and yesterday night she called me to come and get her because she was afraid our mother was going to hurt her, so I went by their house and she came outside and got into the car and we went back to my place and mom threatened to press kidnapping charges on me, I'm wondering what I need to do to get custody of my sister and try to avoid going to jail, and get her out of there, because my sister does want to live with me and I wanted to see if I have any kind of chance of getting custody and how I can go about doing it. My mothers been to prison three times, and has a record a mile long, I have a clean background and nothing on my record, I'm in Oklahoma btw. Open Question: How can I get custody of my sister?
