Answers: Employee confidentiality/privacy violation?

Thank author of this post/commentLong story short, my wife's uncle owns a staffing (temp) agency in Wisconsin. I am employed through them, and am working for a company in a contract position. I gave my resignation notice of 30 days. Does my wife's uncle have the right to release that information to family members without my consent in an attempt to create animosity? Any site of law, code, policy or federal procedure would be greatly appreciated. This law either should be federal or apply to the state of Wisconsin. 10 points, as always, to the person who helps.
